CHRISTMAS POTPOURRI
4 sticks cinnamon
5 Bay leaves
1/4 cup whole cardamon
1/4 cup whole cloves
1/4 cup ground coriander
1/4 cup whole ginger
1/4 ground nutmeg
peel of 1 orange
4 sprigs mint, fresh
4 sprigs rosemary, fresh (optional) I am allergic
pine needles (optional)
Put ingredients in a decorative pan. Fill saucepan with enough water to cover ingredients and simmer on top of the stove for a wonderful aroma that smells of Christmas baking. Refrigerate when not in use and add water as necessary.
